Papaya was abandoned at the temple with her brother, who mysteriously disappeared after a few days. She has always been extremely scared of people, so it took us a while to be able to catch her to sterilize her, and start her vaccines. Since she was so hard to catch, we decided to put her immediately in a foster home, where she has been ever since.

Papaya is shy at first but will bond strongly with her new owner after a settling period.  She is house-trained and gets along well with cats.  She is scared of other dogs but will eventually warm up to them if they aren’t too rough/dominant.
