Will charming Chance get a second chance at life? Will charming Chance get a second chance at life? 🤩

Chance’s sad story goes back to December 2016 when she was abandon at a temple in a carton box along with her 6 siblings. Unfortunately, they were infected with the deadly parvovirus and after 3 weeks of fighting, there was only one survivor - Chance.

She is an extremely loving, energetic and fun dog with very short soft, velvet-like fur. Unless there is a hooman to attention her, she is happy to be on her own or play with other dogs.

UPDATE - ADOPTED! 🤩🐾🙏🏻 Recovering fro UPDATE - ADOPTED! 🤩🐾🙏🏻

Recovering from amputation, Miles urgently needs home!

A couple weeks ago, we were informed about a malnourished dog with a broken hind leg that was losing will to live. Upon arrival, we discovered an absolutely adorable young male and all he wanted was love and compassion. He did not make a sound during the ride to the vet or the examination, but unfortunately his leg could not be saved.

Earlier this week, he was transported from the vets to a temporary foster care so he has enough time to recover.

LET’S FIND HIM A HOME AS LIFE BACK ON THE STREETS WOULD BE VERY TOUGH FOR HIM!

You can also sponsor the surgery, Miles' journey to full recovery and any adoption costs that may occur through or website 🙏🏻
Precious Peanut is on a look for a furever home 😍

Peanut is a very loving and easy-going girl who’s need of a permanent home been unfortunately put aside for more urgent cases. She loves people and gets along very well with other dogs, both puppies and adults.

She was abandoned at a temple in August 2020 along with her siblings who found their families when they were still young. Peanut disappeared for a few days to then reappear out of nowhere; we presume that whoever abandoned her in the first place might have tried to give her another chance but then ultimately decided to leave her at the temple for good.

If you are looking for a loving, gentle and playful pooch, Peanut would be an amazing addition to your home!
UPDATE - ADOPTED! 🤩🐾🙏🏻 Nugget the lit UPDATE - ADOPTED! 🤩🐾🙏🏻

Nugget the little warrior urgently needs a home to heal and be loved 💗

This precious tiny girl has had more than a rough start. Despite being here for only about 5 weeks, she has been abandoned, witnessed losing 4 of her siblings and battled a skin condition that nearly cost her her life, too. Nugget is a curious pup and is confident around other dogs.

Medically, she is all good, just needs a bit of TLC and time to grow her coat back. She has been checked over by a vet and once she is old enough, she will have all the necessary vaccines.

Support Nugget on her journey to recovery and new home! ✨

Jean the skinny pup has been given second chance a Jean the skinny pup has been given second chance at life! 💗

A month ago, we received a message on our social media asking for advice on what is the right thing to do with a pup that was found on the side of the road between Krabi and Ao Nang, all skin and bones, malnourished, overall in a really poor state. At that point, we had a few people interested in another rescue, so we shared photos of this gorgeous girlie, too. And, to our surprise, a lovely couple form Phuket fell in love with Jean as she is very similar to their rescue boy. A week later, Jean was in Phuket, adjusting to her new life, gaining more confidence and weight at the same time!

Thanks to Joanne, her husband & Leo, Jean is thriving and loving her new life! 🐾✨

Mature Cleopatra would love to find a caring home! Mature Cleopatra would love to find a caring home!✨

Cleopatra was abandoned in a bucket along with her 5 brothers and sisters. Their eyes and ears were still closed and they had to be hand fed every few hours until they were old enough to do it themselves. Out of the six, only two survived. Cleo and her brother Ramses could not be more different. She is a midget, short and chubby, while her brother is a giant. Cleo is active, she plays along with dogs all day long and is extremely happy when there is a human who can giver her attention, too.

She is a tough cookie, always healthy and happy. When she was a young pup, both Cleo and Ramses got adopted, but then abandon again, at the same place. It was extremely sad to see her being a happy household dog, just to go back to a temple life. Despite her age, she is still really playful and loving, a perfect dog for either an active person or family with a small child.

UPDATE - ADOPTED! 🤩🐾🙏🏻 Bob the Thai L UPDATE - ADOPTED! 🤩🐾🙏🏻

Bob the Thai Lab 🐾

Can we home him? Yes, we can!✨

Bob was brought to the temple as a young pup along with his 3 sisters, none of which survived. He is very kind, gentle and is happy to be by himself at times, does not overly seek attention, but definitely enjoys cuddles and hanging around. Bob is really easy going, easy to handle and absolutely fine around other dogs and kids. He is slightly bigger than an average Thai dog, but medium for ‘western’ standards. He is currently recovering from a deep cut on his paw at a foster family.

✅ MALE, 4.5 years old, +- 25 kg

✅ fully vaccinated, sterilised, treated for ticks & fleas
✅ can be transported to you

Please share and spread the word, we are sure there is a home for them! 🙏🏻🐕✨

To another successful year ahead of us! 🥂✨🐾

2021 was a busy one for WKS Temple Dogs and we could not be more grateful for all the support, love and kindness we have received throughout the year. We would like to thank all of our regular donors, adopters and supporters for being there for us and the pooches, and making a huge difference in their lives.

In 2021, we managed to find homes for 57 dogs, of which 36 were small puppies. Despite the difficult times, it was our most successful year in terms of adoptions, compared to 18 in 2020. We have now re-homed over 100 dogs all together!

We have funded 24 sterilisations, however, due to our relationships with Lanta Animal Welfareand robynresponds, we have helped to sterilise around 100 street dogs in the Ao Nang area. WKS Temple Dogs volunteers have truly mastered their monitoring and dog catching abilities, utilising the special net, gloves and blowpipe, which we would not have purchased without your generous donations! 🙏🏻

A huge thank you to our Australian sponsors who provided us with a vast supply of tick and flea treatment. As a result, we have spent 0 baht on preventative treatments, compared to 23,000 baht in 2020. 🙏🏻🐕

Your generous donations have been used to provide food, vaccinations and urgent medical care for a large number of animals in need. We are working hard to stretch the generous donations we receive as far as possible.

For some, the numbers presented may seem rather low or not sufficient enough. For us, it is a reflection of great teamwork and countless hours dedicated to puppers in need. No need to pay thousands for a breed. There are thousands of dogs who will be forever grateful for a new chance at life!

For donations, please check out our website or message us privately 🙏🏻

Thorvy the gentle pup found his home! 💙🐾 In Thorvy the gentle pup found his home! 💙🐾

In the second half of January 2021, 9 puppies were discovered at the temple in a poor state. Five weeks into their stay, yet another litter of 7 puppies were dumped at the temple without any notice. By the time we could locate them and separate them, it was too late. The new puppies brought the deadly parvovirus and within a few days, we went from having 16 puppies down to 4.

Thorvy was one of the survivors.

It has now been some time since his adoption and Thorvy is loving his new life on Koh Samui!
